It’s been a great year for the studio. Lots of big changes and awesome projects. We hit the ground running in the new facility and the past six months have been our busiest ever. Grant is home permanently after leaving his band, This or the Apocalypse, and is now an official co-owner of the studio. We’ve had the good fortune to work on a more stylistically diverse collection of projects than we have in the past, providing a great opportunity for us to learn new methods and develop our skill-sets. We’ve also significantly expanded our gear collection and continue to refine and improve our production standards. So in short, we couldn’t be happier with how Atrium has grown over the past year and we’d like to thank every artist that has given us the chance to work with them in 2011.
Grant and I just put the finishing touches on several full-length albums that we produced together: Carousel Kings, One Year Later, Sandraudiga and Ten Throne. A lot of work went into these recordings and we’re super excited about them. We’ll be posting tracks from each soon, along with new tracks from some other recent projects as well. Current stuff we’re working on include EPs from melodic post-rock band Secret Eyes and local technical metal band Between The Lions. We also have a lot of cool projects coming up over the next several months, including A Scent Like Wolves, Texas In July, Ex-Votos, Divider, Termina, Fall of Heroes, Last Scene In Reno, Free The Empire, Delorian Conquest, Benchpress, Sacred Serenity and our old buddies, August Burns Red. Stay tuned as we’ll be posting new music and making more updates to the website in the new year.
